Many might find the contents of this blog odd to say the least, but there's perfectly logical reason for a blog to be dedicated to the penguin race. The reason being that they're amazing; with their spiffy suits and accepting nature, they deserve an online shrine.
What started out as an assignment turned into an actual blog. The yearbook adviser in my school, told the staff [which includes me] to write a paper blog about something they're passionate about, and the topic I chose was Penguin Prostitution. After that we turned our paper blog into a real blog and that's what you're currently looking at.
Though some may find my love for penguins, fanatical, creepy, and unhealthy. I believe it's normal, and if not well at least now, I have a new medium to channel my love for penguins, other than talking everyone's ear off about the awesomeness of the penguin race.
Hi Angelica! What is Penguin Prostitution? Please explain!
ReplyDeleteI don't think your penguin fascination is creepy. For a long time I was obsessed with kitties, and I still am.I think you chose an interesting topic that not to many people know about. I wonder how you will describe it and to what extent this "prostitution" happens.
ReplyDeleteWhat exactly is penguin prostitution?
ReplyDeleteI hope "Penguin Prostitution" was just an expression. I do agree, I think penguins are very adorable. You should get more pictures of penguins. I will be looking forward to that. :D
ReplyDeleteSo I am going to stray a little from the pack and not ask what penguin prostitution is (even though I am really, really curious now). Instead, I thought that penguins did not have an accepting nature, as they are highly protective of their family/commune?
ReplyDeletePenguins are extremely interesting animals and I think dedicating a blog to them is a great idea. They have some very unique behaviors which would be interesting to include on this blog. I think your next blog post should include an explanation about "penguin prostitution" since most readers, myself included, do not know what this is.
ReplyDeleteI believe it's completely normal to have a fascination with a specific animal. Everyone has an animal that intrigues them more than others. I would, however, like to know more about "Penguin Prostitution."
ReplyDeleteLike everyone else, I am also curious to know what "penguin prostitution" is. Hopefully it is merely exchanging penguins between zoos or other environmentally friendly places. And I agree with Bettina that pictures of penguins would be great, too! They're my favorite antarctic animals.
ReplyDeleteHow can you NOT love an animal that is born already wearing a suit stitched into their skin? Actually, I'm not sure why every blog doesn't write about penguins. It doesn't really make any sense. I am a strong believer that if any blog, previously penguin-less, found a way to incorporate penguin into their blog, it would be about 42 times better.
ReplyDeleteIt's healthy to have an obsession until you actually go mental and decide to seriously begin to worship them with the temples and bloodletting. The it starts to get a little creepy. But who am I to judge? I'm someone who probably doesn't have a proper dose of medication at the current moment.
ReplyDeleteYou should have like a new picture of a penguin with each post. That would be cool.
Please explain what Penguin Prostitution is.
ReplyDeleteI don't find this obsession weird at all. I love how you said they deserved an online shrine, mainly because it rhymes. I look forward to learning more facts about penguins!
ReplyDeleteHello Comrade
ReplyDeleteI am comrade Jeremy, leader of the 2nd battalion of emperor penguins. We are currently recruiting to expand are ranks to take over Antarctica, however, this issue of penguin "prostitution" must be stopped!
Hello Max,
ReplyDeleteI love your blog! I can't wait to read more about Penguin Prostitution :)
